ओंगं गणपतये नमः ओंक्षां क्षेत्रपालाय नमः ओंगं गुरुभ्यो नमः इति आकाशे ओंकौं कुलदेव्यै नमः ॐ नंदिने नमः ओंमहाकालाय नमः ओंधात्रे विधात्रै नमः । ततः प्रविस्य लिंगाच्च किञ्चिद्दक्षिणतः शुचिः । उदङ्मुखः क्षणं ध्यायेत्समकायासनस्थितः
oṃgaṃ gaṇapataye namaḥ oṃkṣāṃ kṣetrapālāya namaḥ oṃgaṃ gurubhyo namaḥ iti ākāśe oṃkauṃ kuladevyai namaḥ oṃ naṃdine namaḥ oṃmahākālāya namaḥ oṃdhātre vidhātrai namaḥ | tataḥ pravisya liṃgācca kiñciddakṣiṇataḥ śuciḥ | udaṅmukhaḥ kṣaṇaṃ dhyāyetsamakāyāsanasthitaḥ
“ഓംഗം ഗണപതയേ നമഃ। ഓംക്ഷാം ക്ഷേത്രപാലായ നമഃ। ഓംഗം ഗുരുഭ്യോ നമഃ।” തുടർന്ന് ആകാശത്തേക്ക് “ഓംകൗം കുലദേവ്യൈ നമഃ।” പിന്നെ “ॐ നന്ദിനേ നമഃ। ॐ മഹാകാലായ നമഃ। ॐ ധാത്രേ വിധാത്രൈ നമഃ।” എന്ന് ഉച്ചരിച്ച്, അതിനുശേഷം അകത്ത് പ്രവേശിച്ച് ശുദ്ധനായി, ലിംഗത്തിന്റെ വലത്തുവശത്ത് അല്പം മാറി നിന്നു; ഉത്തരമുഖനായി, ശരീരം സ്ഥിരാസനത്തിൽ നിർത്തി ക്ഷണമാത്രം ധ്യാനിക്കണം।
