विरुद्धं गुरुभिः सार्धं ब्रह्मघ्नः स प्रकीर्तितः । क्षुत्तृष्णातप्तदेहानां द्विजानां भोक्तुमिच्छताम्

viruddhaṃ gurubhiḥ sārdhaṃ brahmaghnaḥ sa prakīrtitaḥ | kṣuttṛṣṇātaptadehānāṃ dvijānāṃ bhoktumicchatām

ഗുരുക്കന്മാരോടൊപ്പം വിരോധമായി നില്ക്കുന്നവൻ ബ്രഹ്മഘ്നൻ എന്നു പ്രസിദ്ധൻ. കൂടാതെ വിശപ്പും ദാഹവും കൊണ്ട് ദേഹങ്ങൾ കത്തിയിരിക്കുന്ന ദ്വിജബ്രാഹ്മണർ ഭക്ഷിക്കുവാൻ ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്ന വിഷയത്തിലും (ഇതേ വിധി).
