सत्यं वाच्यं नित्यमैत्रेण भाव्यं कार्यं त्याज्यं नित्यमायासकारि । लोकेऽमुष्मिन्यद्दिनं स्यात्तथास्मिन्नात्मा योगे येजनीयो गभीरैः
satyaṃ vācyaṃ nityamaitreṇa bhāvyaṃ kāryaṃ tyājyaṃ nityamāyāsakāri | loke'muṣminyaddinaṃ syāttathāsminnātmā yoge yejanīyo gabhīraiḥ
എപ്പോഴും സത്യം പറയണം; നിത്യമായി മൈത്രിഭാവം വളർത്തണം; സ്ഥിരമായി ക്ഷീണവും കലക്കവും ഉണ്ടാക്കുന്ന കർമങ്ങൾ ഉപേക്ഷിക്കണം. ഈ ലോകത്ത് ദിവസം എങ്ങനെ കടക്കുന്നു, അതുപോലെ തന്നെയാണ് പരലോകഫലവും രൂപപ്പെടുന്നത്; അതിനാൽ ജ്ഞാനികൾ ഗാഢയോഗത്തിലൂടെ ആത്മാരാധന ചെയ്യണം.
