नैकवस्त्रश्च भुंजीत नाग्नौ होममथाचरेत् । न चार्चयेद्द्विजान्नैव कुर्याद्देवार्चनं बुधः
naikavastraśca bhuṃjīta nāgnau homamathācaret | na cārcayeddvijānnaiva kuryāddevārcanaṃ budhaḥ
ബുദ്ധിമാനായ ഭക്തൻ ഒരൊറ്റ വസ്ത്രം ധരിച്ചു ഭക്ഷണം കഴിക്കരുത്; അഗ്നിയിൽ വിധിവിരുദ്ധമായി ഹോമവും ചെയ്യരുത്. നിയമഭംഗാവസ്ഥയിൽ ബ്രാഹ്മണാർച്ചനയോ ദേവാർച്ചനയോ ചെയ്യരുത്.
