द्वौ मार्गौ किल वेदेषु प्रोक्तौ कालोऽर्चिरेव च । अर्चिषा मोक्षमायांति कालमार्गेण कर्मणि

Transliteration

dvau mārgau kila vedeṣu proktau kālo'rcireva ca | arciṣā mokṣamāyāṃti kālamārgeṇa karmaṇi

Translation

വേദങ്ങളിൽ നിശ്ചയമായി രണ്ടു മാർഗങ്ങൾ പ്രസ്താവിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു—കാലമാർഗവും അർച്ചി (പ്രകാശ) മാർഗവും. അർച്ചിമാർഗം വഴി മോക്ഷം പ്രാപിക്കുന്നു; കാലമാർഗം വഴി കർമ്മത്തിലേക്ക് മടങ്ങുന്നു.
