सर्वं यत्तद्देहि मे द्रव्यमुक्तं भुवं च मे सप्तगव्यूतिमात्राम् । भूयात्त्वत्तोप्यस्य रक्षेति सोऽपि मेने त्वहं चिंतये चार्थशेषम्

sarvaṃ yattaddehi me dravyamuktaṃ bhuvaṃ ca me saptagavyūtimātrām | bhūyāttvattopyasya rakṣeti so'pi mene tvahaṃ ciṃtaye cārthaśeṣam

“പറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്ന ആ ധനം എല്ലാം എനിക്കു തരിക; കൂടാതെ ഏഴ് ഗവ്യൂതി അളവുള്ള ഭൂമിയും എനിക്കു നൽകുക.” അവനും “ഇതിന്റെ രക്ഷ നിനക്കിൽ നിന്നാകട്ടെ” എന്നു കരുതി സമ്മതിച്ചു; എന്നാൽ ഞാൻ ശേഷിക്കുന്ന കാര്യത്തെക്കുറിച്ച് വീണ്ടും ചിന്തിച്ചു.
