तृतीयश्चोद्वहो नाम चंद्रस्कंधे प्रतिष्ठितः । बद्धं ध्रुवेण येनेदं भ्राम्यते चंद्रमंडलम्

tṛtīyaścodvaho nāma caṃdraskaṃdhe pratiṣṭhitaḥ | baddhaṃ dhruveṇa yenedaṃ bhrāmyate caṃdramaṃḍalam

Translation

മൂന്നാമത്തെ വാതം ‘ഉദ്വഹ’ എന്ന നാമത്തിൽ ചന്ദ്രന്റെ ആശ്രയത്തിൽ സ്ഥാപിതമാണ്. അവൻ ധ്രുവനോടു ബന്ധിപ്പിച്ചതിനാൽ ഈ ചന്ദ്രമണ്ഡലം പരിവ്രമിക്കുന്നു.
