एतस्मिन्नंतरे पार्थ पातालाच्छेषनंदनः । कुमुदोनाम आगत्य प्राह शेषाहिपन्नगान्

etasminnaṃtare pārtha pātālāccheṣanaṃdanaḥ | kumudonāma āgatya prāha śeṣāhipannagān

ഈ സമയത്ത്, ഹേ പാർഥ, പാതാളത്തിൽ നിന്ന് ശേഷന്റെ പുത്രനായ ‘കുമുദ’ എന്ന നാഗൻ മേലേക്ക് വന്ന്, ശേഷവംശത്തിലെ നാഗങ്ങളെ അഭിസംബോധന ചെയ്ത് പറഞ്ഞു।
