tataḥ kumāraḥ sahasā mayūrastho'bhyadhāvata | kujaṃbhaṃ sānugaṃ hatvā vāsudevopyadhāvata

Translation

അപ്പോൾ കുമാരൻ (സ്കന്ദൻ) മയൂരാരൂഢനായി സഹസാ പാഞ്ഞുചെന്നു. കുജംഭനെ അനുചരന്മാരോടുകൂടെ വധിച്ച് വാസുദേവൻ (വിഷ്ണു)യും മുന്നോട്ട് പാഞ്ഞു.
