नारद उवाच । श्रुत्वैतं संस्तवं दैत्यः संघुष्टं देवबंदिभिः । सस्मार ब्रह्मणो वाक्यं वधं बालादुपस्थितम्
nārada uvāca | śrutvaitaṃ saṃstavaṃ daityaḥ saṃghuṣṭaṃ devabaṃdibhiḥ | sasmāra brahmaṇo vākyaṃ vadhaṃ bālādupasthitam
നാരദൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ദേവവന്ദികൾ ഉച്ചഘോഷത്തോടെ പാടിയ ഈ സ്തവം കേട്ട ആ ദൈത്യൻ ബ്രഹ്മാവിന്റെ വാക്ക് ഓർത്തു: ദിവ്യ ബാലന്റെ കൈകളാൽ തന്റെ വധം ഇപ്പോൾ സമീപിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു എന്ന്।
