मामादिश्यासुरेन्द्राय प्राहिणोद्दौत्ययोग्यकम् । अहं स्वयं गन्तुकामः शक्रेणापि च प्रेषितः
māmādiśyāsurendrāya prāhiṇoddautyayogyakam | ahaṃ svayaṃ gantukāmaḥ śakreṇāpi ca preṣitaḥ
എനിക്ക് ആജ്ഞ നൽകി അദ്ദേഹം എന്നെ—ദൗത്യത്തിന് യോഗ്യനായവനെ—അസുരേന്ദ്രന്റെ അടുക്കൽ അയച്ചു. ഞാനും സ്വയം പോകാൻ ആഗ്രഹിച്ചിരുന്നു; ശക്രനും എന്നെ പ്രേഷിതനാക്കി।
