तस्या रूपं समाधाय पावकं प्राप्य साब्रवीत् । मामग्ने कामसंतप्तां त्वं कामयितुमर्हसि
tasyā rūpaṃ samādhāya pāvakaṃ prāpya sābravīt | māmagne kāmasaṃtaptāṃ tvaṃ kāmayitumarhasi
അവളുടെ രൂപം ധരിച്ചു സ്വാഹാ പാവകനെ (അഗ്നിയെ) സമീപിച്ചു പറഞ്ഞു— “ഹേ അഗ്നേ! ഞാൻ കാമതാപത്തിൽ ദഹിക്കുന്നു; നീ എന്നെ കാമിക്കേണ്ടതാകുന്നു.”
