पश्यमानः प्रफुल्लाक्षो वह्निः कामवशं गतः । स भूयश्चिंतयामास न न्याय्यं क्षुभितोऽस्मि यत्
paśyamānaḥ praphullākṣo vahniḥ kāmavaśaṃ gataḥ | sa bhūyaściṃtayāmāsa na nyāyyaṃ kṣubhito'smi yat
കണ്ടുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കെ വിരിഞ്ഞ കണ്ണുകളോടെ അഗ്നി കാമവശനായി. പിന്നെ അവൻ വീണ്ടും വീണ്ടും ചിന്തിച്ചു—“ഞാൻ ഇങ്ങനെ ക്ഷുഭിതനാകുന്നത് ന്യായമല്ല.”
