कुंडेऽस्मिंश्चैत्रबहुले प्रतिपद्येव स्वाहया । ततश्च पावको दुःखाच्छुशोच च मुमोह च
kuṃḍe'smiṃścaitrabahule pratipadyeva svāhayā | tataśca pāvako duḥkhācchuśoca ca mumoha ca
ഈ കുണ്ഡത്തിൽ ചൈത്രമാസത്തിലെ ശുക്ലപ്രതിപദയിൽ സ്വാഹാ മുഖേന (ആഹുതി) നിക്ഷിപ്തമായി. തുടർന്ന് പാവകൻ ദുഃഖപീഡിതനായി ശോകിച്ചു, മോഹത്തിലാഴ്ന്നു.
