मूर्ध्नि शूलं जनयसे स्वैर्दोषैर्मामदिक्षिपन् । यत्त्वं मामाह कृष्णेति महाकालोऽसि विश्रुतः
mūrdhni śūlaṃ janayase svairdoṣairmāmadikṣipan | yattvaṃ māmāha kṛṣṇeti mahākālo'si viśrutaḥ
സ്വദോഷങ്ങളാൽ എന്നെ കുറ്റപ്പെടുത്തി നീ എന്റെ ശിരസ്സിൽ ശൂലസമമായ വേദന ജനിപ്പിക്കുന്നു. നീ എന്നെ ‘കൃഷ്ണ’ എന്നു വിളിക്കുന്നതിനാൽ തന്നെയാണ് നീ ‘മഹാകാലൻ’ എന്നു പ്രസിദ്ധൻ.
