महादेव उवाच । पित्रा हि ते परिज्ञातं दृष्ट्वा त्वां रूपशालिनीम् । बालां स्वयंवरं पुत्री महं दास्यामि नान्यथा
mahādeva uvāca | pitrā hi te parijñātaṃ dṛṣṭvā tvāṃ rūpaśālinīm | bālāṃ svayaṃvaraṃ putrī mahaṃ dāsyāmi nānyathā
മഹാദേവൻ പറഞ്ഞു—രൂപശാലിനീ, നിന്നെ കണ്ടു നിന്റെ പിതാവ് കാര്യം നിശ്ചയമായി ഗ്രഹിച്ചു. അവൻ തന്റെ ബാലിക പുത്രിയെ സ്വയംവരത്തിൽ എനിക്കേ നൽകും; മറ്റെങ്ങനെല്ല।
