मा मा ब्राह्मण भाषिष्ठा विरुद्धमिति शंकरे । महत्तमो याति पुमान्देवदेवस्य निंदया
mā mā brāhmaṇa bhāṣiṣṭhā viruddhamiti śaṃkare | mahattamo yāti pumāndevadevasya niṃdayā
ഹേ ബ്രാഹ്മണാ, ശങ്കരനെക്കുറിച്ച് ‘വിരുദ്ധം’ അല്ലെങ്കിൽ ‘അനുചിതം’ എന്നു പറയരുത്. ദേവദേവനെ നിന്ദിച്ചാൽ മനുഷ്യൻ മഹാ അന്ധകാരത്തിലേക്ക് വീഴും.
