देवी प्राह ब्रूहि विप्र मुहूर्तं संस्थिता त्वहम् । ततः स्वयं व्रती प्राह देवीं तां स्वसखीयुताम्
devī prāha brūhi vipra muhūrtaṃ saṃsthitā tvaham | tataḥ svayaṃ vratī prāha devīṃ tāṃ svasakhīyutām
ദേവി പറഞ്ഞു—“ഹേ വിപ്രാ, പറയുക; ഞാൻ ഇവിടെ ക്ഷണമാത്രം നിൽക്കുന്നു.” തുടർന്ന് വ്രതധാരി സ്വയം സഖികളോടുകൂടിയ ആ ദേവിയോടു പറഞ്ഞു.
