tato jaladharairvyoma sphuradvidyullatākulaiḥ | gaṃbhīrākṣasamādhāraiścābhyapūryata modinī

അതിനുശേഷം മിന്നൽലതകളാൽ നിറഞ്ഞ മഴമേഘങ്ങൾ ആകാശം നിറച്ചു; ഗംഭീര ഗർജ്ജനമുള്ള പ്രളയധാരകളാൽ മോദിനീ (ഭൂമി) മുങ്ങിപ്പോയി।
