व्यर्थतां जग्मुरस्त्राणि देवानां दानवं प्रति । यथातिक्रूरचित्तानामार्ये कृत्यशतान्यपि
vyarthatāṃ jagmurastrāṇi devānāṃ dānavaṃ prati | yathātikrūracittānāmārye kṛtyaśatānyapi
ദാനവനെതിരെ ദേവന്മാരുടെ അസ്ത്രങ്ങൾ വ്യർത്ഥമായി; അതിക്രൂരചിത്തരുടെ മുമ്പിൽ ആര്യരുടെ നൂറുകണക്കിന് സത്പ്രയത്നങ്ങളും ഫലിക്കാത്തതുപോലെ।
