न हि दानफले कांक्षा काचिन्नऽस्ति सुरोत्तमाः । साधुसंरक्षणार्थं हि दानं नः परिकीर्तितम्
na hi dānaphale kāṃkṣā kācinna'sti surottamāḥ | sādhusaṃrakṣaṇārthaṃ hi dānaṃ naḥ parikīrtitam
ഹേ ദേവോത്തമന്മാരേ! ദാനഫലത്തെക്കുറിച്ച് ഞങ്ങൾക്ക് യാതൊരു ആഗ്രഹവും ഇല്ല; ഞങ്ങളുടെ ദാനം സാദുക്കളുടെ സംരക്ഷണാർത്ഥമെന്നു പ്രസിദ്ധീകരിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു.
