ब्रह्मदत्तश्च पांचाल्यो राजा बुद्धिमतां वरः । निधिं शंखं द्विजाग्र्येभ्यो दत्त्वा स्वर्गमवाप्तवान्
brahmadattaśca pāṃcālyo rājā buddhimatāṃ varaḥ | nidhiṃ śaṃkhaṃ dvijāgryebhyo dattvā svargamavāptavān
പാഞ്ചാലരാജാവായ ബ്രഹ്മദത്തൻ, ബുദ്ധിമാന്മാരിൽ ശ്രേഷ്ഠൻ, ദ്വിജശ്രേഷ്ഠർക്കു ‘ശംഖ’ എന്ന നിധി ദാനം ചെയ്ത് സ്വർഗ്ഗം പ്രാപിച്ചു.
