मुंचामुं पुत्र याचंतं किमनेन प्रयोजनम् । अवमानो वधः प्रोक्तो वीरसंभावितस्य च
muṃcāmuṃ putra yācaṃtaṃ kimanena prayojanam | avamāno vadhaḥ prokto vīrasaṃbhāvitasya ca
“പുത്രാ, യാചിക്കുന്ന ഈവനെ വിട്ടയക്കുക; ഇതുകൊണ്ട് എന്ത് പ്രയോജനം? വീരനായി കണക്കാക്കപ്പെടുന്നവന് അപമാനമേ വധസമം എന്നു പറയപ്പെടുന്നു.”
