गया गोदावरी चैव अरुणा वरुणा तथा । एताः पुण्याः शतशोन्या याः काश्चित्सरितो भुवि
gayā godāvarī caiva aruṇā varuṇā tathā | etāḥ puṇyāḥ śataśonyā yāḥ kāścitsarito bhuvi
ഗയാ, ഗോദാവരി, കൂടാതെ അരുണാ, വരുണാ; ഇവയും ഇത്തരത്തിലുള്ള നൂറുകണക്കിന് മറ്റു പുണ്യസരിതകളും—ഭൂമിയിൽ ഉള്ള ഏതു നദികളായാലും—പവിത്രമാണ്.
