पुनरेतत्कृतं चापि संवर्तो मन्यते यथा । अहं सन्मानितश्चेति वह्निं प्राप्याप्यगामहम्
punaretatkṛtaṃ cāpi saṃvarto manyate yathā | ahaṃ sanmānitaśceti vahniṃ prāpyāpyagāmaham
വീണ്ടും, ഈ കൃത്യം താനാണ് ചെയ്തതെന്ന് സംവർത്തൻ കരുതിയതുപോലെ, ഞാനും ‘എനിക്ക് യഥോചിതമായ സന്മാനം ലഭിച്ചു’ എന്നു വിചാരിച്ച്, അഗ്നിയെ സമീപിച്ചിട്ടും മുന്നോട്ട് പോയി।
