धूतपापोवाच । जनेतर्यद्यहं देया सुंदराय वराय ते । तदा तस्मै प्रयच्छ त्वं यमहं कथयामि ते
dhūtapāpovāca | janetaryadyahaṃ deyā suṃdarāya varāya te | tadā tasmai prayaccha tvaṃ yamahaṃ kathayāmi te
ധൂതപാപാ പറഞ്ഞു—“ഹേ പിതാവേ, എന്നെ നിങ്ങൾ സുന്ദരനും ശ്രേഷ്ഠനുമായ വരനു നൽകണമെങ്കിൽ, ഞാൻ ഇപ്പോൾ പറയുന്ന അവനേയ്ക്ക് തന്നെ എന്നെ നൽകുക।”
