Transliteration
gate bahutithe kāle marubhūmau mune mayā | dṛṣṭo brāhmaṇadāyāda ekadā kaścidāgataḥ
Translation
ഹേ മുനേ, ആ മരുഭൂമിയിൽ വളരെ കാലം കഴിഞ്ഞ ശേഷം, ഒരിക്കൽ ഞാൻ ഒരു ബ്രാഹ്മണന്റെ വംശജനെയൊരാളെ അവിടെ എത്തിയതായി കണ്ടു।
