सा तु बाल्ये व्यतिक्रांते किंचिदुद्रिन्नयौवना । शिवभक्तं स्वपितरं दृष्ट्वा नियममग्रहीत्
sā tu bālye vyatikrāṃte kiṃcidudrinnayauvanā | śivabhaktaṃ svapitaraṃ dṛṣṭvā niyamamagrahīt
ബാല്യം കഴിഞ്ഞ് യൗവനം അല്പം വിരിയാൻ തുടങ്ങിയപ്പോൾ, ശിവഭക്തനായ പിതാവിനെ കണ്ട അവൾ നിയമബദ്ധമായ വ്രതം സ്വീകരിച്ചു।
