अगस्त्य उवाच । किं वक्तुकामा देवि त्वं ब्रूहि तत्त्वमशंकिता । न त्वादृशीनां वाक्यं हि पत्युः खेदाय जायते
agastya uvāca | kiṃ vaktukāmā devi tvaṃ brūhi tattvamaśaṃkitā | na tvādṛśīnāṃ vākyaṃ hi patyuḥ khedāya jāyate
അഗസ്ത്യൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ദേവി, നീ എന്താണ് പറയാൻ ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നത്? സംശയമില്ലാതെ സത്യം പറയുക. നിനക്കുപോലുള്ളവരുടെ വാക്കുകൾ ഭർത്താവിന് ഖേദകാരണമാകുകയില്ല।
