न सत्पथेनापि न योगयुक्त्या दानैर्नवा नैव तपोभिरुग्रैः । काशी द्विजाशीर्भिरहो सुलभ्या किंवा प्रसादेन च विश्वभर्तुः

na satpathenāpi na yogayuktyā dānairnavā naiva tapobhirugraiḥ | kāśī dvijāśīrbhiraho sulabhyā kiṃvā prasādena ca viśvabhartuḥ

സത്പഥം കൊണ്ടോ യോഗസാധന കൊണ്ടോ ദാനങ്ങളാലോ ഉഗ്രതപസ്സാലോ കാശി ഇത്ര എളുപ്പത്തിൽ ലഭ്യമാകുന്നില്ല; ദ്വിജന്മാരുടെ ആശീർവാദത്താലോ ജഗദ്ഭർത്താവായ പ്രഭുവിന്റെ കൃപാപ്രസാദത്താലോ അതു സുലഭമാകുന്നു.
