ജന്മത്തിൽ കന്യ അതേ ഗോത്രപരമ്പരയിലായാലും, മാതൃപക്ഷത്തിൽ സപിണ്ഡബന്ധം ഇല്ലെങ്കിൽ അവൾ വിവാഹകർമ്മത്തിന് യോഗ്യയായി കണക്കാക്കപ്പെടുന്നു—ദ്വിജരുടെ ധർമ്മം ഗൃഹകർമ്മങ്ങളാൽ വർദ്ധിക്കേണ്ടതിനാൽ।
