അഗസ്ത്യൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ഹേ പാർവതീനന്ദനേ! ദിവ്യനദിയായ (ഗംഗ)യെക്കുറിച്ച് വീണ്ടും വിശദമായി പറയുക; അന്ന് ദേവദേവൻ ഹരിയോട് എങ്ങനെ അവളുടെ മഹിമ പ്രസ്താവിച്ചുവോ അതുപോലെ.
