भूतं भावि भवच्चापि संशयं मा वृथा कृथाः । इत्युक्त्वा पुनराहेशो गंगामाहात्म्यमुत्तमम्
bhūtaṃ bhāvi bhavaccāpi saṃśayaṃ mā vṛthā kṛthāḥ | ityuktvā punarāheśo gaṃgāmāhātmyamuttamam
ഭൂതം, ഭാവി, വർത്തമാനം—ഇവയെക്കുറിച്ച് വ്യർത്ഥമായി സംശയിക്കരുത്. ഇങ്ങനെ പറഞ്ഞിട്ട് പ്രഭു വീണ്ടും ഗംഗയുടെ ഉത്തമ മഹാത്മ്യം പ്രസ്താവിച്ചു.
