एकः सर्वगुणावासस्त्वेकः सर्वकलानिधिः । एकः सर्वोत्तमो यस्मात्ततो यः पुरुषोत्तमः
ekaḥ sarvaguṇāvāsastvekaḥ sarvakalānidhiḥ | ekaḥ sarvottamo yasmāttato yaḥ puruṣottamaḥ
അവൻ ഒരുത്തൻ തന്നേ സർവ്വഗുണങ്ങളുടെ ആലയം; അവൻ തന്നേ സർവ്വകലകളുടെയും ശക്തികളുടെയും നിധി. അവൻ സർവ്വത്തിൽ പരമോന്നതനായതിനാൽ ‘പുരുഷോത്തമൻ’ എന്നു വിളിക്കപ്പെടുന്നു.
