प्रागानंदवने तत्र शिवयो रममाणयोः । इच्छेत्यभूत्कलशज सृज्यः कोप्यपरः किल

prāgānaṃdavane tatra śivayo ramamāṇayoḥ | icchetyabhūtkalaśaja sṛjyaḥ kopyaparaḥ kila

പൂർവം ആനന്ദവനത്തിൽ ശിവനും ശക്തിയും ആനന്ദത്തോടെ വിഹരിക്കുമ്പോൾ, ഹേ കലശജ (അഗസ്ത്യ)! ‘മറ്റൊന്നും സൃഷ്ടിക്കപ്പെടട്ടെ’ എന്നൊരു മാത്രം ഇച്ഛ ഉദിച്ചു.
