ഇങ്ങനെ പറഞ്ഞ് കുംഭോദ്ഭവൻ (അഗസ്ത്യൻ) മുനിയുടെ സർവ്വാംഗങ്ങളും സ്പർശിച്ച്, സ്കന്ദൻ അമൃതസരോവരത്തിലെ ജലത്തിൽ മുങ്ങി സുഖാനന്ദം പ്രാപിച്ചു।
