त्रिरात्रमपिये काश्यां वसंति नियतेंद्रियाः । तेषां पुनंति नियतं स्पृष्टाश्चरणरेणवः
trirātramapiye kāśyāṃ vasaṃti niyateṃdriyāḥ | teṣāṃ punaṃti niyataṃ spṛṣṭāścaraṇareṇavaḥ
കാശിയിൽ വെറും മൂന്ന് രാത്രികളെങ്കിലും ഇന്ദ്രിയസംയമത്തോടെ വസിക്കുന്നവരുടെ പാദധൂളിയുടെ സ്പർശം പോലും നിത്യമായി മറ്റുള്ളവരെ ശുദ്ധീകരിക്കുന്നു।
