संति तीर्थान्यनेकानि पापत्राणकराणि च । न शक्तान्यधिकं दातुं कृतैनः परिशुद्धितः
saṃti tīrthānyanekāni pāpatrāṇakarāṇi ca | na śaktānyadhikaṃ dātuṃ kṛtainaḥ pariśuddhitaḥ
അനേകം തീർത്ഥങ്ങൾ പാപത്തിൽ നിന്ന് രക്ഷിക്കുന്നു; എന്നാൽ ചെയ്ത പാപങ്ങളുടെ പൂർണ്ണശുദ്ധിയ്ക്കപ്പുറം അധിക ശുദ്ധി നൽകാൻ അവയ്ക്ക് ശക്തിയില്ല.
