सम्यक्संविद्महे तात धुवस्य न मनीषितम् । पदं परिजिहीर्षुः स कस्यास्मासु महातपाः
samyaksaṃvidmahe tāta dhuvasya na manīṣitam | padaṃ parijihīrṣuḥ sa kasyāsmāsu mahātapāḥ
താതാ! ധ്രുവന്റെ മനസ്സിലെ ഉദ്ദേശം ഞങ്ങൾക്കു ശരിയായി അറിയില്ല. ആ മഹാതപസ്വി ഒരു ‘പദം’ (സ്ഥാന) ഹരിക്കുവാൻ ഉദ്ദേശിക്കുന്നു—ഞങ്ങളിലാരുടെ പദമാണ് അവൻ പിടിച്ചെടുക്കാൻ നോക്കുന്നത്?
