अगस्त्य उवाच । इत्थं कथयतोरेव रम्यां पुण्यवतीं कथाम् । भगवद्गणयोः प्राप नेत्रातिथ्यं गुरोः पुरी
agastya uvāca | itthaṃ kathayatoreva ramyāṃ puṇyavatīṃ kathām | bhagavadgaṇayoḥ prāpa netrātithyaṃ guroḥ purī
അഗസ്ത്യൻ പറഞ്ഞു—അവർ ഇരുവരും ആ രമ്യവും പുണ്യദായകവുമായ കഥ പറയുമ്പോൾ, ഗുരുപുരിയായ പരിശുദ്ധ കാശി ഭഗവാന്റെ ഗണങ്ങളുടെ ദൃഷ്ടിയിൽപ്പെട്ടു, അവരുടെ കണ്ണുകൾക്ക് വിരുന്നായി മാറി।
