ममाक्षिपसि विप्रोच्चैः किं मया चौर्य कर्मणा । लब्धा मुद्रा त्वदीयेन पुत्रेणैषा ममार्पिता
mamākṣipasi viproccaiḥ kiṃ mayā caurya karmaṇā | labdhā mudrā tvadīyena putreṇaiṣā mamārpitā
അവൻ പറഞ്ഞു: “ഹേ ബ്രാഹ്മണാ! ഇത്ര ഉയർന്ന ശബ്ദത്തിൽ എന്നെ എന്തിന് കുറ്റപ്പെടുത്തുന്നു? മോഷണവുമായി എനിക്ക് എന്ത് ബന്ധം? ഈ മുദ്രിക നിന്റെ മകനിൽ നിന്നാണ് ലഭിച്ചത്—അവൻ തന്നെയാണ് എനിക്ക് നൽകിയത്.”
