ततस्तं तनयः पृष्ट्वा पितरं प्रणिपत्य च । जगाम तूर्णं तपसे श्रीमद्वाराणसीं पुरीम्
tatastaṃ tanayaḥ pṛṣṭvā pitaraṃ praṇipatya ca | jagāma tūrṇaṃ tapase śrīmadvārāṇasīṃ purīm
അപ്പോൾ പുത്രൻ പിതാവിനോട് ചോദിച്ച ശേഷം പ്രണാമം ചെയ്ത്, തപസ്സിനായി ശ്രീമദ് വാരാണസി പുരിയിലേക്കു വേഗത്തിൽ പുറപ്പെട്ടു।
