प्रतिज्ञां शृणुतं तातौ यदि वां तनयो ह्यहम् । करिष्येहं तथा तेन विद्युन्मत्तस्त्रसिष्यति

pratijñāṃ śṛṇutaṃ tātau yadi vāṃ tanayo hyaham | kariṣyehaṃ tathā tena vidyunmattastrasiṣyati

പ്രിയ മാതാപിതാക്കളേ, എന്റെ പ്രതിജ്ഞ കേൾക്കൂ. ഞാൻ സത്യമായും നിങ്ങളുടെ പുത്രനാണെങ്കിൽ, ഞാൻ അങ്ങനെ ചെയ്യും—മിന്നലുപോലെ ഉന്മത്തനായവനും വിറയ്ക്കും.
