जातकर्म स्वयं चक्रे तस्य देवः पितामहः । श्रुतिं विचार्य तद्रूपां नाम्ना गृहपतिस्त्वयम्

Transliteration

jātakarma svayaṃ cakre tasya devaḥ pitāmahaḥ | śrutiṃ vicārya tadrūpāṃ nāmnā gṛhapatistvayam

Translation

അവനുവേണ്ടി ദേവപിതാമഹനായ ബ്രഹ്മാവ് സ്വയം ജാതകർമ്മം നടത്തി. ആ രൂപത്തിന് യോജിച്ച ശ്രുതിയെ പരിഗണിച്ച്, “നിന്റെ നാമം ‘ഗൃഹപതി’” എന്നു പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ചു.
