स्वर्योषिद्ब्रह्मणः शापादयोध्यायायामलंबुसा । जाता मृगावती कन्या भूपतेः कृतवर्मणः

svaryoṣidbrahmaṇaḥ śāpādayodhyāyāyāmalaṃbusā | jātā mṛgāvatī kanyā bhūpateḥ kṛtavarmaṇaḥ

ബ്രഹ്മശാപത്തിന്റെ പ്രഭാവത്താൽ സ്വർഗീയ അപ്സരയായ അലമ്പുസാ അയോധ്യയിൽ കൃതവർമ്മ രാജാവിന്റെ പുത്രിയായി ‘മൃഗാവതി’ എന്ന നാമത്തിൽ ജനിച്ചു.
