विधूमनामा हि वसुर्देवस्त्री चाप्यलंबुषा । ब्रह्मशापान्महाघोरात्पुरा प्राप्तौ मनुष्यताम्

vidhūmanāmā hi vasurdevastrī cāpyalaṃbuṣā | brahmaśāpānmahāghorātpurā prāptau manuṣyatām

വിധൂമനാമനായ വസുദേവനും അവന്റെ ദിവ്യപത്നിയായ അലമ്പുഷയും—ബ്രഹ്മാവിന്റെ അതിഘോര ശാപം മൂലം—പുരാതനകാലത്ത് മനുഷ്യാവസ്ഥയെ പ്രാപിച്ചു.
