ततो जगर्ज सुग्रीवो वाल्यागमनकांक्षया । अमृष्यमाणो वाली च गर्जितं स्वानुजस्य वै
tato jagarja sugrīvo vālyāgamanakāṃkṣayā | amṛṣyamāṇo vālī ca garjitaṃ svānujasya vai
അപ്പോൾ വാലിയുടെ വരവ് ആഗ്രഹിച്ചുകൊണ്ട് സുഗ്രീവൻ ഗർജിച്ചു. തൻ്റെ അനുജൻ്റെ ആ ഗർജനം സഹിക്കാൻ വാലിക്കും കഴിഞ്ഞില്ല.
