अपत्यविक्रयात्कल्पं वसेद्विट्कृमिभोजने । अतो नाण्वपि कन्याया उपजीव्यं नरैर्धनम्

Transliteration

apatyavikrayātkalpaṃ vasedviṭkṛmibhojane | ato nāṇvapi kanyāyā upajīvyaṃ narairdhanam

Translation

സന്താനത്തെ വിറ്റാൽ മനുഷ്യൻ മലഭോജി പുഴുക്കളുടെ ലോകത്തിൽ ഒരു കല്പകാലം വസിക്കും. അതുകൊണ്ട് കന്യയുടെ ‘വില’യിൽ നിന്നുള്ള ധനം അല്പമെങ്കിലും ഉപജീവനമാക്കരുത്.
