तस्यान्नं गृह्यते नैव कन्यापि न कदाचन । हितमाचरते यस्तु पुत्राणामपि वै नरः

Transliteration

tasyānnaṃ gṛhyate naiva kanyāpi na kadācana | hitamācarate yastu putrāṇāmapi vai naraḥ

Translation

അവന്റെ ആഹാരം ഒരിക്കലും സ്വീകരിക്കരുത്; ഏതുകാലത്തും അവനു കന്യയെ നല്കുകയും അരുത്. തന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരുടെയെങ്കിലും യഥാർത്ഥ ഹിതം ആചരിക്കുന്ന പുരുഷൻ ഈ നിയമങ്ങൾ പാലിക്കണം.
