ततो दंडं प्रकुर्वीत सर्वैरेव द्विजोत्तमैः । भोजनं कन्यकादानमिति दाशरथेर्मतम्

tato daṃḍaṃ prakurvīta sarvaireva dvijottamaiḥ | bhojanaṃ kanyakādānamiti dāśarathermatam

അതിനുശേഷം എല്ലാ ശ്രേഷ്ഠ ദ്വിജരും ചേർന്ന് വിധിപ്രകാരം ദണ്ഡം വിധിക്കണം. അന്നദാനവും കന്യാദാനവും—ഇതാണ് ദാശരഥിയുടെ അഭിപ്രായമെന്ന് പറയുന്നു।
